Arkansas Urology of Little Rock will break ground on a $6 million surgery center at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, which coincides with the the practice's 20th anniversary.
The facility is expected to open in October 2017. The single-story, 12,467-SF center will be built on Arkansas Urology’s central campus at 1300 Centerview Drive in Little Rock.

The project is being paid for by the physician owners as well as through a loan from IberiaBank of Lafayette, Louisiana.
Once the building is complete, Arkansas Urology will add between 15 and 20 positions, giving it about 175 employees.

Physicians and executive staff at Arkansas Urology, as well representatives from Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge's office and U.S. Rep. French Hill's office, will attend the ceremony.
