Bryan Dorathy has been promoted to regional executive for central and southeast Arkansas at Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
Dorathy will oversee sales and marketing, provider networks and general operational functions. He has worked in the health insurance industry since 1995.
Tim Leathers, longtime deputy director of the Arkansas Department of Finance & Administration and commissioner of revenue, has joined inVeritas as vice president of consulting at the Little Rock headquarters, effective in January. He will provide guidance and support to clients based on his decades of experience in finance, government and law.
“I am excited to join the inVeritas team and will work to deliver a unique and valuable perspective for their clients in both the public and private sector,” Leathers said.
Leathers has served as an instructor of commercial law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and an adjunct professor of state and local taxation at the UALR Bowen School of Law.
“Tim has served as a loyal and trusted adviser to seven governors in his nearly 40-year career with the State of Arkansas,” Ruth Whitney, inVeritas CEO, said in a news release. “His extensive experience, contacts, and ability to work with individuals on both sides of the aisle will broaden the firm’s practice and reinforce our track record of success.”
Leathers earned his bachelor’s degree from UALR and his Juris Doctor from the Bowen School of Law and served as a captain in the U.S. Army Reserve JAG Corps.
Mark Knight of Davis DuBose Knight Forestry & Real Estate in Little Rock has been designated an Accredited Land Consultant by the Realtors Land Institute.
Knight serves as principal broker with Davis Dubose Knight Forestry & Real Estate and specializes in marketing timberland, farms and ranches, hunting property and rural real estate.
