Wendy Russell will oversee sales and marketing strategy for the 288-room Doubletree by Hilton in downtown Little Rock as part of the management team of Waterford Hotel Group Inc. of Waterford, Connecticut.
Russell joined Waterford Hotel Group more than 20 years ago and has served as director of sales at six of its properties, including a Courtyard by Marriott, a Residence Inn by Marriott and Holiday Inn Express, all in Connecticut. In 2010, she became a part of a regional task force that provided sales and marketing support to numerous hotels, where her title was regional director of sales.
The DoubleTree by Hilton in Little Rock will soon complete a multimillion-dollar renovation that includes a new lobby, lounge, restaurant and upgraded guestrooms. It has nearly 40,000 SF of conference center space and is connected to the newly renovated Robinson Center.
Landrey White has been hired by The Sells Agency as interactive project director for its digital partner, Pixel Perfect Creative, and Matt Ramsey has been hired as a public relations account executive.
White has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas and interned at The Sells Agency. She previously worked as a customer service and order processing manager for Sporn, a pet products manufacturer.
Ramsey earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from Ouachita Baptist University and has 12 years of experience in communications, PR and digital and direct marketing.
Jeanette Henthorne has been promoted to director of lease administration at Colliers International in Little Rock. Henthorne, who joined the firm in January 2013, was previously senior accountant.
