McLarty Automotive Group on Wednesday announced plans to build a new, 30,000-SF McLarty Nissan dealership off Interstate 30 in Benton.
The nearly $10 million, open-point dealership is expected to create 75 new jobs, bringing MAG's total employment in central Arkansas to more than 500, the company said in a news release.
"McLarty Automotive Group has made it our top priority to invest in quality brands, service and people," Mark McLarty, founder and chairman of McLarty Automotive Group, said in the release. "We look forward to continuing our strong growth in central Arkansas with the addition of McLarty Nissan of Benton."
The official groundbreaking will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 19960 Interstate 30.

MAG owns and operates six dealerships in central Arkansas: McLarty Honda, McLarty Nissan of Little Rock, McLarty Nissan of North Little Rock, McLarty Mazda, McLarty Volkswagen and McLarty Auto Sales.
